Our mission
The objective is to improve the quality of cancer care by introducing the multi-disciplinary discussion.
The NGO has been created since 2021 by Congolese doctors trained and in-training abroad in the field of Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology. The Medical Staff of the NGO encompasses as well medical physicists, clinical pharmacists and doctors trained in other subspecialities.
Preventive approach
Establish evidence-based preventive measures to reduce future burden of the disease. In collaboration with the Ministry of health, establish cancer registries in main hospitals across the Country
Multidisciplinary approach
Establish a multi-disciplinary approach of treatment of cancer in the DRC.
Research
Carry out basic cancer and clinical research to improve access to clinical trials for Congolese cancer patients and implement guidelines specific to our population.
Accessible treatments
Address the shortfall of access to different modalities of treatment, particularly the radiotherapy
